KingKut Sections

    The KingKut™ section used with the Gold Guard™ has 10 to 26 percent reduced weight from other section designs.  The KingKut™ section also provides 33 to 77 percent more feeding area than other sections. This allows for less sickle drive wear and increased ground speeds.  The KingKut™ section is a coarse, top serrated, section designed to allow plant material to enter the cutting area more quickly. This is incredibly effective in trashy cutting conditions such as no-till farming.

    When is it appropriate to use a fine serrated section as opposed to a coarse serrated section?

    We recommend that hay systems use fine serrated sections, and combine systems use coarse serrated. However, some users prefer coarse serrated when cutting Alfalfa.

    Are Crary GOLD Guards and KingKut Sections able to substitute with OEM guards and sections?

    Yes, by allowing the interchangeability of OEM guards and sections with the GOLD Guards and KingKut sections, the customer has less down time.

    Does the KingKut system have any kind of warranty?

    The KingKut system has a seven day satisfaction guarantee, and a one year GOLD Guard breakage warranty.
