In 1979, Chuck and Joe Crary purchased the Delzer Machine Shop and continued to expand on the shop’s existing harvesting attachment product lineup.

The Crary WeedRoller was developed out of the need to control aquatic nuisance weeds by improving and beautifying lake swimming and recreation areas.

2005 | ECHO Incorporated
Around 2005, Crary Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of ECHO Incorporated of Lake Zurich, IL and adopted the new name of Crary Industries, Inc. Since the acquisition, ECHO has partnered with Crary Industries management to invest in growth for all the product lines and its employees.
